Career Milestones
1999 – Early 2000s
After being admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1999, she began her legal career in litigation, having completed her pupillage at a firm specialising in civil and criminal matters. Her early exposure included court proceedings ranging from the Magistrates’ Courts to the Federal Court.
Early 2000s – 2004
She was appointed as Legal and HR Manager of an established engineering company, where she managed corporate legal affairs, contractual documentation, regulatory compliance, and internal advisory matters.
2004 – 2025
She subsequently founded her own practice before becoming a partner at an established law firm, where she practised for over two decades. During this period, she handled extensive corporate finance transactions, share acquisitions, joint venture and shareholders’ agreements, restructuring exercises, property development projects, banking and Islamic financing documentation, conveyancing matters, intellectual property work, and banking litigation.

Rachael Ng Myn Sze

Rachael brings a balanced combination of corporate transactional exposure and cross-border estate practice to the firm. Her experience in corporate finance, securities matters, and international probate work enables her to approach legal issues with both technical precision and commercial awareness. Having worked with major institutions and foreign clients, she is attentive to detail, responsive, and solutions-driven. Her ability to navigate complex documentation and multi-jurisdictional considerations strengthens the firm’s corporate and estate practice, while providing clients with practical, clear, and dependable legal guidance.
2023
She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2023 and began her legal career in the Corporate Finance and Securities practice. During her pupillage, she was involved in a range of corporate and commercial matters, including assisting in transactions for listed and private companies. Her work included conducting legal due diligence, drafting and reviewing share subscription agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and other transactional documentation.
2023 – 2025
Following her pupillage, she practised with an international law firm focusing primarily on probate, trusts, and estate administration matters. She assisted in trust administration, probate proceedings, estate planning, and related advisory work. Her role involved handling cross-border matters and advising foreign clients, giving her valuable exposure to multi-jurisdictional considerations .
2026
She has obtained the Malaysian Bar’s approval to join the firm as a partner effective 1 February 2026, reflecting her growing leadership role and commitment to the firm’s development.
